Crowthorne & Crown Wood Cricket Club

The Curtain came down on the Crows 2010 league season with a washout against bottom placed Woodley.   Heavy rain in the proceeding days left the Great Hollands Oval somewhat wet and unfortunatlely unplayable. 
The Crows were still in with a chance of finishing in the top 2 places in the league and securing promotion to the 1st Division on thr Berkshire League for thew first time in their history.
However it wasn't to be, and the final league position of 3rd was achieved.
Thanks to everyone who has played on Saturday's this season (some often at short notice), thanks to Pete for skippering admirably in his first season in the job, thanks to Alan for umpiring, Shiela for making the teas and anyone else who has contributed.
It was an enjoyable league campaign with some terrific team and individual performances and a supberb team spirit. We will come back next year and give it a real go to win the League.
