Crowthorne’s Midweek XI delivered a thunderous performance away at Farley Hill, piling on 183-5 in a batting blitz that left the hosts reeling.
Jules O’Loughlin (55) and Ollie Taylor (52) opened with a masterclass in timing and aggression, both notching half-centuries with flair. Daniel Cartledge (40*) kept the momentum surging, while Sam Mansfield and Matt Jones added late flourishes. Extras chipped in generously, but this was a top-order demolition job.
In reply, Farley Hill never recovered from an early collapse. Omer Farooq (2-12) and Jonny Mattey (2-15) ripped through the top order, with Dan Finucane, Matt Jones, and Sam Mansfield each striking. Rajdeep Das (41) offered resistance, but the chase fizzled out at 116-8.
