Match report 🗞️ “Wraysbury Wallop Crows in Batting Blitz”

Crowthorne’s 3rd XI were on the receiving end of a Wraysbury whirlwind, conceding 251-6 before being bowled out for 114 in just 26.1 overs. It was a day dominated by the visitors’ top order, with Andy Chinn (75) and Veron Wadhwa (89) putting on a punishing partnership that left the Crows chasing shadows.
Despite early breakthroughs from Adam Mansfield and Alex Dennet, Wraysbury rebuilt through Chinn and Wadhwa, who added 174 for the third wicket. Hassan Ahmed’s late cameo (28* off 19) pushed the total past 250. Anand Soundar picked up two wickets, but the bowling unit struggled to contain the flow.
Crowthorne’s reply never settled. Krunal Patel (26) and Jai Parhar (17) showed resistance, and Avinash Singh added 15, but Zeeshan Sherzad (2-8) and Umer Yunis (4-29) ripped through the middle order. Hassan Ahmed cleaned up the tail with two wickets in five balls, sealing a comprehensive win for Wraysbury.
