Match report TAYLOR-MADE VICTORY FOR CROWS AS BAINES HAS EARLEY IN A SPIN.

A terrific unbeaten 8th wicket century partnership from Luke and Ollie Taylor paved the way for Crows to post an intimidating total of 269 which was always going to be too much for a poor-looking Earley side.

Mike Brundish and David Kruger both chipped in with valuable runs but Crows appeared to be in a spot of bother when the brothers came together with 15 overs left. Ollie helped himself to an unbeaten 66 whilst Luke added 38 more. This set the platform for the bowlers to put pressure on Earley's fragile batting.

Earley had no answer to the flight and guile of Andy Baines who destroyed them with 6/13 off 7 overs. The visitors were skittled for a meagre 97 and the Crows bandwagon rolls on.

A proud father, Andrew Taylor joined the press conference and could not hide his delight at the batting performance of his sons. "Believe it or not, I actually missed most of it as I was at home asleep but as soon as I knew they were going well I got straight to the ground" he quipped. "Both lads will be delighted to have contributed with the bat in such a way. They might even talk to each other tonight"

Beaming Skipper Dan Finucane interjected "They both batted so well, and the club is very proud of them tonight. Ollie getting his baggy green in such a fashion is great to see. Sapre a thought for Andy Baines though whose masterly bowling display will be somewhat overshadowed tonight by the 2 youngsters"
