🧨 First Innings: PGCC’s Middle Order Magic Fizzles Late
Pinkneys Green CC’s innings was a rollercoaster of resilience and collapse. After early stumbles at 3-2, the duo of Vinay Reddy (57 off 68) and Jagjit Dhillon (58 off 75) stitched a commanding 82-run partnership, lifting the hosts to 125-3. Their strokeplay lit up the ground, with Reddy’s 11 boundaries and Dhillon’s lone six drawing cheers.
But the tail crumbled under pressure, losing 7 wickets for just 57 runs. Oliver Taylor’s fiery spell (4-23) ripped through the lower order, while Jeff Cluett’s 3-32 ensured PGCC were bowled out for 182 in 40.3 overs.

🔥 Second Innings: Krüger’s Class and Taylor’s Calm Seal the Chase
Crowthorne & Crown Wood CC’s chase was anchored by a masterful 66 from David Krüger, who soaked up pressure and dispatched boundaries with ease. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, the visitors never lost sight of the target.
Chandra Bandla’s 3-41 gave PGCC a glimmer of hope, especially after reducing the opposition to 134-5. But Oliver Taylor (42* off 33) returned with the bat to finish what he started with the ball, guiding his side home in 30.3 overs.
