Match report JUST ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE AS CROWS TRIUMPH IN THE RAIN.

Crows travelled to the picturesque ground of Stallions CC under gloomy conditions. Batting first, the in-form Crows made 240, thanks largely to the flashing blade of Chrsi Winch (68*) and a cameo innings from Pranav Desai of 39. Mike Wulff and Dan Finucane chipped in with useful scores as well.

With heavy rain forecast later in the afternoon, the visitors made a crucial strong start with Adam Mansfield taking 3 wickets and Avinash Singh and Luke Taylor taking 1 apiece to put Stallions well behind on DLS.

When the rains did come, Crows were well ahead and deserved winners.

A drenched Dan Finucane told the hardy bunch of reporters who had braved the weather in the name of local sports journalism: "It's a shame the rain came but we were well on top and deserved to win. It would have been nice to finish the game but it wasn't to be. We've been lucky with the weather this year so far so we can't complain. Chris Winch was superb with the bat and young Adam Mansfield bowled superbly as he has done all season. We have a tough game next week but let's hope the weather is better than this"
