Match report CROWS 3'S FALL SHORT IN WEYBRIDGE DOUBLE -HEADER THRILLER

Crows 3's failed to pull off a clean sweep for the club in the double header with Weybridge Vandals on the banks of the Thames.

With the 2's playing on an adjacent pitch and a booze-fuelled crows of rugby players enjoying their annual dinner on the boundary, hopes were high for 2 wins.

Crows, as has happened so often, failed to post a score to put the game to bed. John Cartledge, Dan Manning and a cameo from Aiden Dolan were the only plus points as Crows stuttered to 123 all out against a very youthful opposition.

However Crows almost pulled off Mission: Impossible with Skipper McQuitty claiming 4 wickets as the Vandals staggered their way to the finish line to win by just 2 wickets.

The slightly early finish on Pitch B, meant the Crows were able to gather on the boundary to watch a masterclass of slow left arm bowling on Pitch A as the 2's claimed a thrilling victory.

All in all a great day out for the club and one we can hopefully repeat in the future.
