In a match reduced to a 20-over a-side showdown with the likely hood of heavy rain, Crows top order which had been boosted with some players from the 1's and 2's were blown away as Crows struggled to get going. Only skipper Dave McQuitty could hold his head high with 22 as 3 ducks and no other scores in double figures hampered Crows chances.

In response Ganes Pun grabbed 2 wickets but the Crows paltry offering of 77 was never enough as Stratfield cruised to victory by 8 wickets inside 16 overs.
