Match report SHAW AND WINCH STAR IN SULLY AWAY-DAY VICTORY

Dave Shaw bludgeoned an unbeaten 13-ball 32 with 3 sixes and Chris Winch smashed 76 as Crows ran riot in the final overs of their innings. Earlier in the innings, Ravi Godbole had made a classy 56 in a century partnership with Winch. Crows posted 242, which looked a good score but with the short boundaries at Sulhampstead nothing is ever guaranteed.

However a solid bowling performance from the Crows, backed up with some good catches meant Sully were never really in the hunt. Youngsters Pete Emes and Luke Taylor both impressed with the ball once again whilst veteran Tom Nash grabbed his first wicket for the club in the burning embers of the match.

Crows won by 93 runs and at the end of the game made their excuses and left, having won by a large margin for the first time in quite some time.
