Match report The U13's started the season scampering two byes off the last ball of the game to win by one wicket, a fantastic game!

Reece and Alfie opened the bowling, both taking a wicket in their first over. All the C&CW bowlers were swinging the ball, and Twyford's batsman were struggling to score. Twyford number 4 dug in and batted well retiring on 31*. The Twford batsman only managed to score 56 runs off the bat, but the Crows conceded 42 extras giving Twyford a total of 98. Far too many wides, no balls and byes conceded.

Reece and Matthew put on 49 for the first wicket, and we looked comfortable to knock the runs off with ease, Once Matthew was bowled the game changed drastically, the C&CW batsman were giving their wickets away with poor shots, and failing to keep the straight ball out. As the wickets tumbled Tywford sensed they could win the game, they really out the batman under pressure. Reece was keeping calm whilst chaos was going around him, he was then caught, and departed for an excellent 28. With 7 runs required off the last over and 2 wickets in hand for the Crows, all results were on. Adam and Dylan scrambled 5 runs off the first 5 balls after losing Vinay off the first ball, two to win off the final ball. Adam took a leg bye, Twyford threw the ball in going for the run out, and as the ball was fumbled Adam and Dylan took off and managed to get a second run and win the game.

A great game played in great spirit by both sides, and some vociferous support by both sets of parents in the last few overs.
