Match report Crows win in the wind

Winning the toss, JC returned to tradition and put Stratfield into bat.

Ajay and Avi started the attack, both bowling well . Avi 6-2-15-0 and Ajay , thanks to two good keeper catches from Jordan finished with 8-2-31-2.

Ven came onto to bowl. 3 balls into his spell, a whisper of the chant "he bowls to the left, he bowls to the right " could be heard on the wind. He decided to bowl one ball straight, and clean bowled someone.
Peter Emes bowled a good tight line , finishing with 1 for 11 off 5, his wicket thanks to a sharp catch from Sunny at square leg.
The the living legend JC brought himself on and demolished the middle and lower order. One wicket due to a fantastic reaction catch from Ven at short mid off. JC rapped up the Strafield innings with an LBW to finish with 5.2-1-12-5 . Well bowled that man.

After a fantastic tea, with curry and samosas and chicken wings, top stuff Ven, Crows openers sauntered out to start the chase.

Foxy fell very early. Sunny and Jiknesh put on 29 for the 2nd wicket. 2 further wickets fell away , leaving crows 38 for 4. Ven and Seano then put on 34 before both fell for one run.
Peter Emes and Jordan then put on 36 for the 7th wicket , before Jordan missed a straight one. JC and Peter then saw us home, Peter remaining 25 not out.
