Match report Crows win again

On something actually resembling a cricket wicket , JC won the toss and batted for the 2nd week in a row. All traditions are meant to be broken.

JC and Dan "Bernard" Manning opened the innings for Crows , putting on 48 for the 1st wicket , JC departing for 28. Bernard then batted through to the 42nd over , building partnerships of 55 with Venki and 57 with Ven, before departing for a well played 55 ("sketchy" being his own description) . Ven had bullied his way to 48 (7 4s, 2 6s). 3 wickets then fell quickly, before Kiwi and Avi put on 22 in 3 overs to lead the team to 195 for 8, Kiwi hitting 2 6s .

By the time the correspondent arrived , Binfield had been reduced to 26 for 4 . Two for Monty, 1 for Avi and a direct hit run out for Mikey Storey. Monty finishing with 9-1-28-2, Avi 7-3-8-1.
Some lusty hitting from the middle order moved Binfield up to 90 for 5 after 26. Then the Kiwi came on , bowling a tight line. Taking 5 wickets in combination with Ven to seal victory . Kiwi finishing with 7.3-5-10-3 and Ven 4-1-7-2
