Match report on a baking hot day, Crows lost the toss and unsurprisingly were asked to field.

Avi and Monty opened up. Avi was not his normal accurate self, but Monty did what Monty does, picking up a well deserved wicket in his final over. Nikhil replaced Avi and picked up a wicket with his first ball. Demolition Dave was then called on to tempt the Shinfield batsman into trying to hit out. Worked so well, A Tiffen tried to give the ball so much welly he pulled his hamstring. he retired hurt , although he did return later to biff some boundaries. Dave settled into a great rhythm , while JC did his normal magic from the other end . dave finished with 9-1-15-3 and JC 9-3-24-2. Ven then came on to bowl a complete Bertie Bassett spell and somehow ended up with 3 wickets. Shinfield bowled out for 136.

JC and Dave started slowly but safely, putting on 33 for the first wicket. The strong middle order then promptly collapsed leaving Crows 50 for 5. partnerships from Nikhil and Ven (20) , and then Soumya and Avi (23) got Crows up over a hundred. Was left to Monty to dead bat the last ball to secure the draw, Crows finishing on 107 for 9 , earning a 75% draw ( 2 extra points)
