Match report Crows undone by leg spin and tat being bowled from the other end.

Losing the toss, Crows were sent into the field. Slightly damp wicket mixed with lightning fast outfield.

Monty and LBo put in 2 good opening spells , keeping the run scoring down , but only taking one wicket . Ven and Demolition Dave took up the attack, both going for a little bit of tap from the left handed number 3 , Ian Snelling. Control was needed to be regained. JC called himself and Mikey Storey into the attack . What followed was 16 overs of good bowling, 4 wickets and 69 runs . Mikey regularly ripping the ball through batsman and keeper alike. LBo came back on for 2 excellent death overs, picking up a deserved wicket .

Binfield finished on 200 for 7 off their 40 overs. A good score, but with the outfield so fast, Crows didn't feel the target was out of reach.

JC and Demolition opened the innings , exchanging glorious drives on the way to a 75 run partnership. Then the young leggy harry Jones was brought on in conjunction with S Andrews at the other end. Harry bowled an excellent line and spun the ball a mile. Crows batsman knew they wouldn't score much off him, so went after the more enticing fayre being bowled from the other end. Unfortunately fielders were found with shots more often than the boundary, Crows crashing from 75 for 1 to 82 for 4. Some fight then shown, but the required rate had got far too high , and Crows finished 58 runs short of victory.
