Match report Another sunny day another 3 hours in the field for crows

Crows toiled away through 44.2 overs, a strange mix of wides, boundaries and wickets left Binfield 124 for 9 after 28 overs. 2 for LBo and AWR, 1 for Monty and JC Junior , 3 for Ven , including a narrowly missed hat-trick . What followed was as 89 run last wicket partnership , finally ended by Monty throwing down the stumps in the 45th over. Too many runs conceded to the last pair would prove very costly.

After tea , Demolition and JC strode out to start the chase. Great opening spells from Butler and Furkins left the win chance well behind . JC departed , and then the middle order was given the "Bullett" by Binfield's first change bowler , who ended up with 8.2-24-5 , and left only the draw to be fought for, to stop the win anyway. Ven and AWR shared a 90 run partnership over 22 overs ,before Ven departed for 55 (2nd fifty in a row in the league) . left to LBo to confidently bat out the last over , crows finishing 134 for 7 off their 45 overs.
