On a rare visit to St Sebs, crows lost the toss and were put in . JC and Demolition Dave put 35 on before a random yorker bowled JC. Two wickets quickly followed leaving crows 48 for 3 . In strode the Goblet. An hour or so later, after partnerships of 39, 37, 24, 48 and 17, Mike strode off the pitch with a undefeated 109. Well played Sir Goblet.

After tea and a change of top for Mikey (new club top a little tight on review of photos) crows took to the field to go for the win. First ball success for JC was followed b 9 overs of carnage , with all bowlers being dispatched around the St Sebs oval, leaving Shinfield 100+ for 1. Luke Taylor regained control after his 1st two overs and bowled two excellent spells. Ending with 10-1-40-4, well bowled Luke. Mikey charged in for 10 overs from the tennis court end , leaving the field a physical wreck , but with two wickets. Two great catches from JC and George Tims helped us to get Shinfield 8 down. But the winning runs were hit in the 42nd over, in the end too man extras (16 wides, 4 noballs) prevented crows having 45 overs to bowl at Shinfield and likely cost us victory
