Having run the toss, Crows strode out in search of 10 wickets.

Experience was called on 1st with the opening pair of Long and Miller , not having much luck, but keeping thinks very tight. Miller ending up with 9-2-19-1 and Long 6-1-7-0.

JC then turned to Dipak "The Celebration" Upwanshi and Ven , charging in like an early 90's Botham. wickets fell regularly at both ends , Dipak taking 3 for 22 off 8 and Ven 3 for 20 off 5. demolition Dave then snook a wicket before Long was brought back to clear the rabbits and end the innings , taking 2 in 2 balls. Hat-trick delivery 1st ball of his next game.

After a nice spread provided on Dave's behalf by family McQuitty for tea Crows went out to chase down 88 of 45 overs for victory. Demolition had his stumps , well , demolished early on . Naga (43) and Foxy (17) then set about the Mortimer bowlers in a controlled manner, putting on 66 befpre both inexplicably missed straight balls. Seano did the same a short while later leaving crows 73 for 4. 16 runs needed, two trigger fast LBWs later and suddenly crows were 83 for 6. happily the expected crows collapse didn't appear and AWR drove straight for 4 to win the game.
