Match report Thunderbolts and lightning not frightening enough to stop win for the 3rds

Crows were put into bat and before the 2nd thunderstorm of the day slowly built a score of 40 for 2 off 20 of the 37 scheduled overs. Naga and Foxy perishing to the young attack. After and early tea, Dave M perished trying to move the score on after being instructed to anchor the innings. Seano with help from AWR and Venn then pushed the score up to 110 before getting out to a direct hit for an impressive 34. Golden quack for Kiwi was followed by a quick scoring partnership between Venn and Krishna saw crows to 126 for 6 of 37 overs.

Crows started the defense with an all spin attack of Dave and Mikey. Only one wicket fell however before JC was forced to take the new ball in the hunt for wickets.Peter Clarke obliged ripping through the middle order , completing his spell of 8-1-12-4. JC then did his usual trick of winkling out 2 , before implementing the master change of recalling Demolition Dave to the attack to bamboozle the tail and pick up 2 wickets. Ven given the chance to bowl,took only 2 balls to dismiss the no 11 and victory was sealed.
