Match report Crows 3rds put West Reading to the slaughter in Sol Jol sunshine

Losing the toss, the 3rds strode into the field to set about restricting our opponents score. Monty and Chris Emes opened the bowling. The former using the wind as well as his Camberwick Green namesake to remove the West Reading top order and the latter bowling another excellent spell of 6 overs, deserving more than the 1 wicket he got. Demolition Dave replaced big bad Chris and took his wicket, bamboozling the West Reading no 6 into totally missing a straight one. The experience pair of JC and Pete Clarke then came on to finish West Reading off , removing the final 3 batsman in 12 balls.

Demolition Dave and Naga walked out to chase the very daunting target of 53 off 70 overs. Both batsman tucked into the buffet being served up and Crows romped home in 9.2 overs.

The only thing left to do was tucking to the excellent tea spread provided by Ven. Much merriment was had
