Crowthorne & Crown Wood Cricket Club Lost by 23 runs

Match report Waltham won the toss and elected to bat. Looked a great decision as they raced to 94 without loss. But then JC worked his magic and started the constant flow of wickets, leaving Waltham 155 all out off their 45 overs.
JC finishing with 10-1-26-4. Ably supported by Chris Emes 10-1-36-2 and Mike Storey 7-1-7-2. Matty Wilson also bowled another good spell.

After tea Crows took to the field to chase down the total. Great start as we raced to 67 without loss, thanks to a brutal 52 from Dave Shaw (5 fours, 3 sixes). Once he departed however, no one else really got a handle on batting and wickets fell regularly. The tail wagged, but fell 4.3 overs short of securing the draw
