Match report NASH HOLDS NERVE AS CROWS WIN IN SOL JOEL PARK THRILLER!
Crows 2's pulled of a remarkable victory against all odds to record a 3-run win over Early.

Batting first, Crows stuttered and stumbled along to 129 all out. James Whitehurst top scoring with 32.

Early looked to be cruising at 61/0 off 16 overs. However the double bowling change by the skipper bought immediate rewards.

Former Crown Wood player Owen Bye, got conned by a Partridge in-swinger and lost his leg-stump, despite announcing earlier in the over he knew how to pick it.

Next over Nirav removed the dangerous Shacklady, smartly caught by Nash at slip.

The tide was turning and the Crows went for the jugular. Partridge and Nirav ripped through the middle and lower order as Crows took some good catches and applied great amounts of pressure.

Early however managed to nudge their way towards the target but with very few wickets left it was anyone's game.

Cometh the hour, cometh the skipper. O'Loughlin bought himself on to wrap up the game. He took the 9th wicket with a very average ball and it came down to 4 needed to win with plenty of overs to spare.

As the tension mounted, the skipper held his nerve and Vinod Aduri, who has single-handedly given Earley a chance of victory attempted to cut to the point boundary to seal the win, but only managed to cream it straight to Nash who snaffled the tough chance with consummate ease.

Cue mass hysteria and jubilation in the Crows ranks.

Special mention to The Bish for a superb tea. A great all round team effort and a great win! #gocrows
