CCWCC 240 for 6.

First game of the season for the u9s, and for over half the team the first ever game of cricket. Fielding first, CCWCC saw an excellent spell from skipper William O' Loughlin (narrowly missing a hat trick following 2 bowled out) and a first wicket for Lily Mansfield. T&R batted cannily using a "hit and run" approach that our players (and the coaches!) will have learnt much from. CCWCC then looked to chase down 293 but with a high number of run outs resulting from the well organised T&R fielders, eventually the innings closed on 240 despite some big hitting from a number of the pairs batting together.
