Incredible stuff from Brundish (34 runs, and 5 for 24 off 8) and Cartledge (69...)ably assisted by all rounder O'loughlin (34 runs with bat, 7 overs 3 maidens 16 runs, 1 wicket with the ball)won the game for the crows.

The Goblet twins opened and put on 68 in 10 overs, then Cartledge and O'loughlin put another 50 on in short order to put MWE on the back foot from the off.

With the ball, the edifice of the win was built upon the foundations put down by Long and O'Loughlin who left MWE on 32 for 2 off the first 13, Before Brundish destroyed the middle order with his first 5fer, as he finally got the spell he'd been begging for, for the last 2 years. Another wicket for 12 year old Luke taylor finished the job.

Mackenzie was full of praise for his match winners after the game, saying "It was good to see them live up to the hype today. The opening partnership put us well on our way and Cartledge looked classy out there. Then Brundish's incredible bowling finished the job. Im wondering why ive not bowled him more in the past to be honest"
