Match report On a hot and humid Friday evening the Crows U11s took on a very strong Wargrave U11s side, who we yet to loose a game in the U11s Division 2 Central League.

The crows were put into bat and Wargrave bowled very well to restrict our batters to 259-7. Oliver Taylor was the top scorer with eleven runs, closely followed by George Tims who scored nine. A top double innings from the final batting pair.

After Wargrave had batted for 15 overs, the game was still very much in the balance as Luke Taylor took two wickets to keep the score down to 251-5. However, Wargrave had left arguably their best two batsmen for their final pair. Despite a real effort from the bowling from Torin Brooks and Oliver Taylor T. Walker and M. James brought the score up to 277-7 to clinch a win for Wargrave by just 18 runs.

The Junior Crows had a good go with their bowling and fielding and the backing up was much better, but Wargrave were just too strong all round in the end

Considering where we have come from though in the last few years the team is making real progress and if this momentum keeps going we could be a real force in the U13s league in a few years.
