Match report 3rds dominate in Blackwater

Hawley won the toss and chose to bat. Looked like a great decision as Tiley forced a flurry of 4 off the early overs.
The skipper turned to LL Cool A to restore some order, and he answered the call removing Tiley and Jamil in quick succession in a tight 6 over spell (6-3-11-2)
The spin twins of Cartledge (8.3-4-5-4) and Baines (4-1-11-3) were deployed and proceeded to race each other to 5 wickets, dispatching the rest of the Hawley line up in 12 overs of frugal bowling. Hawley all out for 57 in 25.3 overs.

Crows strode out to bat after a short break. No real dramas, runs chased down in 13.1 overs. Good knocks from Dan Boulton (28) and Joe Davies (19 not out) saw crows home.

Nice to see Joe Birkett get a run out, catch and hit the winning runs on his debut for the club.
