Match report BAINES SPINS CROWS TO VITAL VICTORY
An excellent all round team performance meant CCWWC 2nd XI recorded their first league win of the season. Skipper Sinith Chandran and Dan Partridge took 2 wickets apiece and Andrew Baines picked up his maiden league 5-wicket haul as Crows restricted the hosts to 160/9 in 45.

In reply Crows lost Robin Stent cheaply before Mohammed Izzadeen and James Whitehurst steadied the ship. Izzadeen went on to make a fine 51 whilst Dave Shaw bludgeoned a rapid 35 to put the game well within Crows' reach.

Muhammed Careem played a disciplined innings of 32not out as wickets fell around him. It was left to 9th wicket pair of Careem and Dan Partridge to see the team home with a few overs to spare.
