Match report Crows create chaos at wellington college, as Cartledge and Kieran cause casuals collapse.

The Sunday crows won again, with Mackenzie winning the toss and bravely electing to bat, on a pitch that looked like it would have something in it for the bowlers.

Baines(45) and Cartledge(38) built the platform after a quick cameo from Shaw, and though wickets began to fall after that, the foundations had been laid, and despite some gr8 bowling, from 2 new casual players (J. Escariot and T.Urncoat) and great fielding from another (R.Ozzer), as well as a 5fer for Big Gay Eddie Hemmings, the crows managed a reasonable total of 178.

In the field the crows were ruthless, never letting up for a moment, as first Cartledge, and then Golding ripped through the Casuals' lower order, with some
divine intervention from the archbishop, Rowan Williams, to wrap things up with 3 quick wickets at the end, denying Brundish his promised bowling spell, and leaving the casuals 90 runs short of their target.

Speaking to the press after the game, Mackenzie again heaped praise on his team mates. "it was the complete team performance, we battled hard with bat and ball and everyone played their part."
