Match report another game, different skipper, same result.
The usual batting collapse (23 for 4, 45 for 6, 57 for 7, 75 for 8) was rescued by some spirited batting from skipper Baines (20) and Pete Clarke who scored a swashbuckling 55 n.o (8 4s, 3 6s)while holding the tail together.

The opposition knocked them off in 34 overs, despite some great bowling by sykes and the slower bowlers, and at least we had them sweating on the result towards the end, as they went from 62 for 1 to 128 for 6, but Crows were always 50 runs short, for the third game in a row.

stand in skipper Baines spoke to the press after the game, " confidence was low and there was a hang over from the previous games. I did my best to pick the lads up, but there's only so much I could do. We made a game of it in the end, with both bat and ball, and I hope the returning skipper doesn't spoil the improvements I made in our next game."
Mackenzie will have to up his game, if he wants to retain the captaincy, with this young buck ready and willing to step up to the plate if required.
