Crowthorne & Crown Wood Cricket Club Lost by 59 runs

Match report Another defeat in the evening sunshine for our inexperienced Under 14s, however many positives to come out of the result

The boys are inexperienced especially in match play, however there were a few highlights tonight. Tom Crockers bowling spell of 3 for 6 off 3 overs with two wicket maidens, Billy Coles hitting two terrific fours, two wickets and two great catches, the smile on Leon Carters face for his 7 runs, but more importantly, good time at the crease, Matt Wilsons great fielding, Sunny Sunwars 13 and great wicketkeeping, Matt Thomas 2 for 7 and a catch.

The boys bowled well, however Liam chose to give nearly everyone a bowl, he could have used less and saved a few runs, however it was all good experience for all, and they all seemed to enjoy it.

The run chase never really got going, however they were not rolled over and far from embarrassed. 7 wickets down at the end, lets call it a losing draw.
