Match report PARTRIDGE AND BAINES CAST 7 DEADLY SPINS ON MWE TO FINISH SEASON WITH DRAMATIC WIN
Left-arm bowling pair Dan Partridge and Andy Baines shared 7 wickets as Crows 2's pulled off a dramatic victory against Mortimer West End at St Sebs. Sinith Chandran took the decisive catch on the boundary off the bowling of wicket-machine Baines with only a handful of runs required.

Earlier in the piece, Crows had lost the toss and asked to bat. Robin Stent and Joe Boulton got the Crows off to a solid start without looking too troubled by the opening bowling.

Stent was then struck on the ear by a slow bouncer and the game was held up for 20 mins whilst the umpire (who is also a surgeon) repaired Robin's half severed ear. Amazingly, Stent was taped up and went back out to bat
