Match report CLUETT HEROICS SETS UP THRILLLING TIE

(need to decipher the scorebook a bit before final scorecard is posted.)

Crwos finally got to play a T20 match despite several fundamental factors working against them. We managed to get around not having a pitch or an opposition to arrange a short notice match with Wellington College Common Room (teaching staff) team.

Many thanks to Jules for organising this. We look forward to playing them again sometime this summer.

Main highlighrs of the game:
1. The Weather - was superb. Perfect evening for cricket.. which lead to...
2. Bumper Crowd. A massive turnout. A Mix of Crows palyers enjoying a beer, some Wags and offspring, some College boys cheering and Jeering thier masters and some randoms.
3. Crows unveiling their new T20 Green kit. Which looks suspiciously similar to the training tops.
4. Anthony Cluett hitting 64 not out including 25 off the last over to set up a tie.
5. RP Hester snaring 2 wickets in 2 balls
6. Colin taking a wonder Caught and bowled (unfortunatly injuring himself in the process)

In summary, a fun time was had by all. It was marvellous to see everyone down there enjoying the cricket action in the evening sun.
