Match report ANOTHER CRUSHING DEFEAT FROM THE SUNDAY CROWS

The Crows notched up a 9 wicket victory without really breaking sweat against Crown Wood CC. Finally some decent weather for play, but strangely with 9 men Crown Wood chose to bat first, and were all out for 85 after a poor batting display. Dan Partridge was the pick of the bowlers with 4-22. Monty took a superb catch of his own bowling, but then suspectly dropped one of the bowling of Adders! In his return to the Sunday fold Adam Elrick took 1-11, and hit 28 not out in a good performance.

A leisurely tea was had, before the Crows went out to bat and knocked off the runs without too much fuss. Matt Childs scoring 22, and Rich Barron retired on 32. Apparently hurt, but was soon cured by a sports massage on the sidelines from a rather attractive blonde lady. Adam and Dainos stayed out there to knock off the runs, and wrapped up a very straight forward victory for Crows.

Contenders for MOM were Adam for a good knock and a wicket, as well as Barron for a good knock and a tight bowling spell. The MOM goes to Dan Partridge for some wily bowling, and taking 4 wickets to put him right in contention for the Sunday bowling prize.
