Crowthorne opener Richard Barron hit a classy 96 to help Crowthorne to a competitive 186 on a typically erratic Mortimer pitch. Terry Charles (31) was the other main contributor.
Mortimer decided attack was the best policy to chase down the Crows total. Ross Chalmers (5-68) took early wickets and the Crows were in command until Barbar clipped and cut his way to 51 to give Mortimer the advantage. The hosts suffered a late wobble thanks to two Simon Sheppard wickets, but Mortimer’s tail saw them home with two wickets spare.
