WINTER NETS - SUNDAYS 9.45am-11am


Good afternoon All,

Happy New year to you all.

Just a quick note to remind you that Adult Winter Nets start this Sunday (5th Jan) at 9.45am at Wellington College Sports Centre.

For those who've not been before, here are the details:

We have 3 nets booked from 10-11am.  We ask people to come a bit earlier as we can often start before 10. In any case it helps those who organise it if we know how many people are there before 10.

We try to give everyone an even time batting but please bear with us for the first couple of weeks until the numbers settle down.

Cost is £3 per week and it's really helpful if you bring the correct money.

As we find our feet as the new club, I ask everyone who comes along to make a big effort to introduce yourself to those faces you don't know and start to get to know each other.

It would be good to get a rough idea of numbers so if you are coming this week and can let me know it would bew great, if not we 'll just deal with whatever numbers turn up!

One final minor thing  (which existing Crowthorne members hear every year), remember to respect Wellington College. We are lucky to have our good relationship with them and should endeavour not to tarnish this. Drive and park sensibly, don't drop litter or cigarette ends etc etc etc and if asked by security at any point, just meniton you are from the cricket club. Wellington is a 24/7 operation and Security are tasked with making sure noone is on site that shouldn't be, so just be polite and let them know who you are!!
