Winter Footy - Starts 4th September!

Winter footy returns for it's 3rd season on Tuesday 4th September 2012 at 8pm. (Meet 7.50 to get teams sorted etc)

For those newbies, Brendy is winter football manager, in charge of selection, etc.

We have 1/4 of the Astroturf at Frogmore School for 1 hour.

We do availability in the same way as for Cricket matches with an email/text being send to you  and then you reply accordingly.

As ever priotity is given to Paid up members of the club with "ringers" being allowed to make up the numbers at Brendy's discretion.

The purpose of winter footy is as follows:
1. To provide recreation during the Cricket Off-season
2. To promote Team/Club spirit.
3. To keep everyone in touch over the winter months
4. To have a bit of fun.
5. It caters for all abilities. This is NOT serious stuff. It's a runabout and a kickabout. Those less able (like myself) are equally entitled to play as those who take it seriously and play in an organised team.


WInter Footy has proved a huge success in the 2 years we've been doing it. It makes a small profit for the club and has provided a lot of team spirit and banter. 

The fixtures are on the website, so you can start adding your availability ASAP.
