As most of you know we have arranged an Intra-club T20 for this Wednesday at New Ground. The match starts at 6.00. If you are not playing, please stil read this mail.......
As there will be lots of the club members present in one place at one time.....we'd like to do a couple of things....
Firstly we'd like to get an official photo of as many of the club together as possible. The plan is to take one big squad photo in front of New Ground Pavilion with everyone in a Crows shirt. In addition we will do some individual shots for the website profile pictures.
So... Could everyone that is playing do the following:
1. Bring both your Green tops and your white tops. (one team will play in Green and one in white)
2. Bring your White Crows Shirt if you have it yet - I know some are STILL waiting for theirs - for the photo
3. Bring any spare white Crows tops you might have to lend to others for the photo- so we can make sure everyone is in a Crows top for the photo.
4. Bring your Baggy Green cap if you have one.
If you are not playing ... . We plan to do this between innings at about
7.30. If you are free for 20 minutes, could you pop down with your kit and join the photo? You are of course more than welcome to pop down and watch and have a drink too but if you are busy, a quick visit at about 7.30 would be ideal. (also bring any spare Crows shirts to help kit out the other guys without a crows shirt.)
If you are not able to attend... we will try and get everyone snapped in a Crows top for the website before the end of the season.
As it's the 30th birthday of the club and the 6-aside was rained off, this is our only chance to do this... so lets hope for nice weather.
Secondly.... We are starting to sell the raffle tickets that we would have sold at the 6-aside. They are priced at £1 each. Rich, Mark and Jimmy will have the tickets, You can either take some away to sell to friends and family or buy some on the night. All profit will go to Myeloma UK Charity so please dig deep. There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs including a Samsung Tablet, an Ipod, some signed cricket shirts, Ben & Jerrry's vouchers, a picnic hamper and many others. We will do the draw in a few weeks (despite the tickets saying 8th July). We really urge everyone to be as generous as possible. We don't charge match fees for T20 so you think about buying a few tickets with that money......
Finally... Rich and Jimmy will have a number of our Crows Mugs for sale. As lots of people were admiring (and probably stealing) the Mugs we boguht for matchday tea, we decided to buy some to sell too. They are a bargain at £4 each.
Should be a good club night. Please feel free to invite any friends and family down to watch too.
