Crows opening Berkshire League Division 2 game was called off on Saturday despite the breezy, sunny conditions. Heavy overnight rain led to the pitch at Waltham St Lawrence being declared unplayable, much to the frustration of a strong Crowthorne XI for whom pace trio Ross Chalmers, Morgan Kemp and 'Turbo' Terry Charles were set to make their first appearances of the season.
