Dear Members/Parents
Taster Session for Women & Girls Cricket - 2nd November
I hope everyone is well.
Guess what? Cricket is back already..... :-)
Please share this mail or the flyer below with any friends or family members who may be interested in "having a go" at Cricket with a taster session with our Women & Girls Section.
Since the launch of Women's Softball Cricket 4 years ago we have moved on to offering both Softball and Hardball Cricket and cater for all standards and ambitions. We have seen absolute beginners progress to Hardball League cricket, and youth progress to county cricket and men's league cricket too.
Women's cricket has provided opportunity to meet new friends, socialise, get fit, relieve stress (by "whacking the hell out of a ball" - Source: N Mansfield), learn new skills, a sense of belonging and camaraderie and generally have a lot of fun
To make sure we have minimal "Barriers to Entry", our Taster Session is FREE, will be Softball, needs no equipment or previous cricket experience whatsoever and we will have qualified coaches and experienced existing players joining in the fun too, to help show you what it's all about.
This is open to all aged 12 or above and is "no strings attached" with no pressure to join. If successful we will offer more sessions over the winter months, too.
If you or anyone you know might be interested in attending please contact Lou Walker (Head of Women's Cricket at womenscricket@CCWCC.info
We are looking forward to seeing some new faces come and "have a go".
If you see our flyer on social media, please give us a like, a thumbs up, share, comment etc. We are really looking to drive engagement with the local community as well as give opportunities with people already linked to the club (e.g. Youth Parents or partners etc.)
Best Regards,
Dan Partridge - Club Chair
