Good afternoon all
After a couple of weeks of drop outs and chasing people, this week we had around 40 players available for Saturday, which is fantastic news. However this success does bring its own problems, in that unfortunately some players will not get a game this Saturday.
It is a tough job but there are two ways we can minimise people missing out.
The first is wherever possible, people are to make themselves available for both days on a weekend, and you can even make yourself available for either day on the weekend by using the notes on selection menu. If you are available Saturday and you don’t get a game, you will be a priority for Sunday.
We can also look to add Saturday friendlies if we have enough players, but people need to update their availability in advance, for example we have 32 players available for next Saturday so no need for another fixture, however if another 6 or 7 update their availability on Sunday, it only gives us a day or two to try and find another fixture. So please try and do your availability in advance.
You will also have received an invite to CCW official news Whatsapp group, this a one way communication for the captains and committee members to get over important messages to the Men’s Group without it being lost in a thousand happy birthday or banter messages on the main group.
