Crowthorne & Crown Wood Cricket Club

Crowthorne & Crown Wood entered its newly formed girls’ cricket team into its first tournament this weekend.  The young Crows entered a team into a six-a-side cricket competition being hosted by Warfield CC on Saturday morning.  Our girls performed fantastically well in their first competitive matches and won in two out of their three games.  Well done to Chloe, Gabi, Katie, Lily, Matilda & Sophie for their excellent performances and great team spirit.  Many thanks to their coach Matt Jones for organizing the fixture and initiating this exciting new facet to the club, in addition to the continuing contributions our girls are making each week to our mixed gender youth teams.
