Message Regarding Youth Training Tonight

Dear all,

We hope your children are enjoying the cricket training on a Friday night at St Sebastian's. The weather today looks great, so we are expecting a bumper turnout.

There is an Under-9 game on Friday 16th June- Training will carry on around it for all age groups.

To help things run smoothly, here are just a few reminders for you! (thanks to Sarah Emes for compiling the list!)

  • Please remember to bring inhalers to training if your child suffers from asthma and make sure the coach is aware if you think they are going to need them.
  • Please let us know if you are not staying to training and make sure you leave a contact number with Sarah and Anita at "check-in".
  • It would also help to know if someone else is collecting your child. Please remind them it is an 8 o’clock finish.
  • Please ask your children not to go out of the gate during training- adults will collect any stray cricket balls.
  • Please sign out as well as in!
  • Let’s hope the sun keeps shining- You may want to send your child with a hat and a water bottle.
  • St Sebastian's attracts it's fair share of bugs and beasties as the evening goes on. A bit of insect repellent might be advisable, too.
  • The Bar will be open - we might be a pair of hands or 2 short behind the bar tonight, so if anyone wants to lend a hand, please let the bar people know! (form an orderly queue!)
  • The Kitchen will be open as usual. Place orders with Bex upon arrival. Food is served at the end of training.
  • Please feel free to take chairs outside if you want to sit down - please bring them back in afterwards though.
  • We still have some club shirts for sale. £10 each (subsidised by the club) - they will be on sale in the bar area.
  • We are accumulating a reasonable amount of lost property, I'll put that out in the pavilion too.

Any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Many thanks and hopefully see many of you later,
