2017 Youth Winter Indoor Nets - Wellington College
Dear all,
Just a quick note to give you some details about YOUTH Winter Indoor nets this year.
You'll all be pleased to hear that there will be designated Youth Nets starting SUNDAY 12th FEBRUARY
Time: 11am-12noon
Where: Wellington College Sports Centre. (Please enter the College via the Sports Centre Entrance on Dukes Ride near Wellington Business Park rather than the main College Entrance)
Who can come: Any youth players old and new from Under 9's group up to under 13's group. Older Children are encouraged to come to the Adult session which precedes this at 10am
Cost: £3 per person per session. Please try to being correct money to help us. Someone will be appointed each week to collect the money!
General Housekeeping:
1. We will have 3 nets and it's quite possible that the other 2 will be used by another club, so it could get quite busy in there. As such can we ask that any parents wishing to stay to watch, move to the Balcony. this will mean it's much easier to manage the children and safer with less people standing around with flying cricket balls.
2. Cricket Whites are not essential but it's always preferable to be dressed for the part. Clean indoor shoes are to be worn regardless. We have some Caps and Match shirts for sale still, so I will bring these if people want to buy anything. Shirts and Caps are both £10.
3. We will have a few bits of kit for batting but if you have your own gear, please bring that. Everyone batting against a hard ball will be required to wear appropriate protective clothing
4. The club will purchase a whole new batch of Practice balls. We need all these back each week!!
