End of Cricket Season wind-down.

As we approach September, the cricket season is, sadly, drawing to a close. It’s been another good year for the club.
Here are just a few dates for you all.
Tonight – FINAL outdoor nets for YOUTH and ADULT. Weather looks great, so would be good to get a good turnout for the final one.
Friday 2nd September - FINAL Friday night Youth Coaching. Bar and Kitchen open as usual. Would be good to see as many youth as possible.
Saturday 3rd September – Final 1st and 2nd XI ADULT League Matches, followed by end of season drinks and Curry at St Sebastian’s. All welcome to this (Adults, Youth, Friends and Family etc) This has been a great night for the last few years. Hoping for a big turnout to celebrate the end of the season
Friday 9th-Sunday 11th September – Club Tour to Devon. If any adult member is interested in this, Tour leader Rich Hester can probably squeeze you in. Give Rich a call on 07891 199515.
Saturday 17th September – YOUTH Presentation Day and Kids vs Adults Matches – Dave Hawkes has previously communicated to the Youth Section about this.
Sunday 25th September - End of Season Clear-up Day. We will be “putting the club to bed” for the winter. Volunteers needed/appreciated. I will send details nearer the time but if you could spare a couple of hours, it would be great.
As the season comes to an end we will be soon also looking towards the future. As ever, the committee welcomes ANY offer of help either in a casual or official capacity. As we strive to strengthen and improve all areas of the club, the need for reliable volunteers grows too. We will be trying to recruit people into positions throughout the club including, Admin, Coaching, Team management, Ground work, PR, fundraising, merchandise, the list goes on. If you think you could add anything (including ideas), I’d love to hear from you.
