  • Now residing in Singapore, Coops provided great entertainment and enthusiasm in his spell with the club.

    Started off as a right handed bastman but soon decided after 30 years as a righty, he would become a lefty. It has to be said I bet he wished he'd done it years ago as his batting soon improved!

    Coops was a good vocal presence in the field as well as a willing scorer, umpire, and general entertainer. Also in possesion of a wind-up radio so we could keep track of the Test match scores.

    Turned up to the end of season dinner in a tuxedo and ended up gonig home wearing Superman pants.

    Once lost his car at BCS, having left his keys dangling off the boot.
