What we say......Sunday regular H-Bomb has all the attributes of a quality keeper; good hands, great agility and the unique verbal flatulence possesed by all the finest glovemen. Howie is a decent bat with a couple of half-centuries to his name, and he's also a seemingly hopeless bowler with an uncanny knack of taking wickets. If Monty is the king of on-field comedy injuries, then Howard takes the prize off-field; he can be relied upon to miss a few games a year due to falling off dancefloors or into dry riverbeds. Howard gets extra club kudos for introducing the BBQ match against his other team, the Arcadian Casuals, to the mid-summer fixture list.Favourite phrase: "It's time to bring down the Hammer of Justice!". What he says.......With figures of 2 wickets from two overs with 1 run conceeded from my last devastating bowling spell, by allrights I should be our opening bowler. Instead I am the 2nd XI wicket keeper, if I'm lucky. Says more about the selection panel than it does me, if you ask me, which no-one does!. Howard now lives in NZ, but will always be a Crow at heart.
