No-ball specialist, Ross joined in 2008 and became a mainstay of the Saturday team in 2009. Lived in Crowthorne for years before realising we actually have a cricket team. Brother-in-law of Fellow Zimbabean legend Heath Streak. Has helped several bowlers complete a hattrick. Narrowly avoided the 2009 Duck Prize by giving up playing with a few games left. Along with Brent O'Connor, produced a great display of fast bowling to blow away South East Reading in 2009 in one of the Crows greatest ever victories.
Ross has led the Crows attack since then with wickets, extras and sledging galore. His high wicket count is all the more remarkable for his inability to bowl at tail-enders. He also has delivered several memorable innings with the bat (and pad), some of which weren't ducks.
He Says: 'My front foot slides, the heel is in the air, the umpires are all ganging up on me, the popping crease is faded, etc., etc.'
