Matthew Childs profile

An explosive batsman, handy bowler and jet-ski enthusiast, Matt Childs return to the club in recent years was greeted by many with cautious optimism. Since then he has become a stalwart of the first team.

When not on the cricket field or skipping over waves, Matt can be invariably found on the golf course. His prowess with the dimpled ball has seen him win CCWCC golf days (which he organises) and the unfounded claim that he won nearly 1,200 ZAR from Ernie Els in a game of Bingo Bango Bongo.
