  • Alex "Mad Dog" Gent
  • New Signing primed for 2011.  Alex is a Crowthorne Village legend. Years of Propping up the bar in the Iron Duke, with his long blond mane of hair have made Al a familiar face in Crowthorne. Notable cricket Highlights include captaining the Alex Gent XI in a series of hard fought encounters with the Aran Long XI in the early 1990's on the top field at Edgbarrow.  A regular at Crows winter footy and ANOTHER Royals Season ticket holder.  Hopefully we'll get to see Al batting for 40 overs in his Panama hat like he did "back in the day".
