Match report Crows win but no prize goldfish on return to the Fairground

JC lost the toss and crows were put into bat. JC and Demolition Dave kicked things off , sharing a 46 run partnership for the 1st wicket before Dave departed. JC out third for 46 , shortly after Dan M had returned to the pavilion. Ven went quack and AWR was sold down the river by Venki. Venki and Kiwi then put on 42 for the 6th wicket , either side of a rain break. Everyone else departed quickly leaving Kiwi 34 not out at the non strikers end, and crows 124 all out.

Avi and Ajay opened the bowling for Crows , both bowling well but with no luck at all. Avi especially kept going past the edge of the Northern Monkey's bat without him snicking it. Shinfield were 41 for 0 , things looked ominous. JC called for Kiwi and Demolition Dave in the hope of bringing much needed wickets . Both answered the call, taking 7 wickets between them , both with chances for hat-tricks. Shinfield were reduced to 68 for 7 . Ven then chased hard after a ball (yes you did read that right!) and returned the ball to Jordan for a smart run out .

JC had brought himself on and wrapped up the tail, taking 2 for 1 . Shinfield all out for 87 , Crows victorious . Good all round team performance
