Match report Sunny day , rock hard wicket and dry close cut outfield, Crows won the toss and elected to field.

Unforgiving wicket meant wicket taking would be at a premium, and it proved to be. First wicket falling in the 30th over of the innings. However good bowling and energetic fielding meant Binfield were restricted to 186 for 5 off their 40 overs. Creditable bowling from Luke Taylor at the top of the innings promises much for the rest of the season.

Crows lost earl wickets in reply , but then partnerships of 44 between Ven and Shreyas , and 58 between JC and Shreyas got the crows above a hundred. Shreyas, on debut for the 3rds, was finally out for 70, earning his senior baggy green. Well done, superb innings.

Crows tail fell chasing 10 an over , many to ugly agricultural shots.

So a loss and now back to the fun of Great Hollands .
